Doors open at 11:00 AM. For this workshop, we will focus on discovering the beauty and impact of a veil entrance in a classical oriental performance.  Brianna will explain how to identify the entrance in a piece of classical music and discuss why veils have become a common prop in creating an exciting introduction.  Students will learn foundational technique used in entrances, with an emphasis on traveling and turning, and how to incorporate traditional as well as innovative veil movements into an entrance.  Then we’ll put it all together with Brianna’s original choreography.  Students will need a 3-yard veil.
